Dr Leya Bahlou
Periodontist
Dr. Bahlou obtained her doctorate in dentistry with an international profile at the Faculty of Dentistry of Laval University. She then decided to join the multidisciplinary residency at the University of Montreal in order to enrich herself in a hospital setting (Hôpital St-Justine, Hôpital Notre-Dame, Hôpital de Chicoutimi, Hôpital Louis-H Lafontaine). In 2014, Dr. Bahlou continued her postdoctoral studies at Laval University in periodontics. Additionally, Dr. Bahlou has published in the Journal of Oral Health and completed a Masters in Dental Science on the prevalence of peri-implantitis and its related clinical factors. Dr. Bahlou now practices periodontics and implantology in private clinics in Montreal, Laval, Saint-Eustache and the West Island of Montreal. She is an Elected Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in periodontics, member of the Order of Dentists of Quebec, Canadian Laser Institute, Canadian Academy of Periodontology, Association of Periodontists of Quebec, Federation of Dentists specialists from Quebec and the American Academy of Periodontology.
